The Michael Tse Tin Wa, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Francis Ng Chun Yu starred TURNING POINT (LAUGHING GOR ji BIN JIT) has been in release for less than a week and already it reported box office success. Two nights ago it held a celebration in Tsim Sha Tsui. Tse Tin Wa, Ng Chun Yu, Fala Chen, Chin Kar Lok, director Herman Yau Lai To, TVB executive Elaine Lok Yi Ling and producer Leung Ka Shu attended. One of the lead Wong Chau Sun could not attend due to work in the Mainland.
Wong Chau Sun earlier attended the film premiere earlier but left the cinema due to a lack of seats. Two nights ago Ng Chun Yu joked, "It's full, when there is a seat then I will get him back." Was Chau Sun mad? He expressed that he did not know whether Chau Sun was no longer mad. He joked, "Maybe he has to hit someone to relieve the rage. I am just joking." Reportedly Shaw saw the film response and planned for a sequel. Will Chun Yu consider a salary rise? He again had fun at Chau Sun's expense. "We only took laisee money, unlike Chau Sun who got millions."
Chun Yu two nights ago was in great spirits. When he ran into Chin Kar Lok he made fun of his rumor. "Break up, break up, actually it's pretty sad for you." Reporters asked Chin Kar Lok whether he and Angela Tong Ying Ying have broken up, Kar Lok immediately changed the subject. Chun Yu joked, "Then that day who visited the set?" Kar Lok struck back, "(Anita) Lee Yuen Wa, she returned to Vancouver." As for upcoming Shaw films, Kar Lok expressed that he will participate in the Lunar New Year film HOUSE OF 72 TENANTS.
As for Wong Chau Sun's absence, Ms. Lok explained that Chau Sun was working in the Beijing. Earlier they already met for dinner. As for a sequel, she expressed that it was under consideration. Because Shaw will make its third film, she would like the chance for the company's artists to perform and turn them into film actors. Speaking of Chau Sun's frequent complaints, will she approach Chau Sun for another film? Ms. Lok said, "I years ago have worked with Chau Sun. Character actors have to have character. Over the years that I have known him he has always been like that."
