Eddie Cheung Siu Fai, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Vincent Wong Ho Shun and three directors Kenneth Lai Siu Kwan, Paul Sze Pak Lam and Lau Wing Tai earlier attended their film GUILT BY DESIGN (CHUI MIN CHOI KUET)'s audience appreciation event and meeting in Guangzhou. Many fans screamed, "I want to be hypnotized" and heated up the event.
This time Brother Fai played a veteran cop. Brother Fai said, "Actually this Tang Sir is very smart, very willing to accept challenges. Because Ka Fai in the film is a hypnotist, Ka Fai thinks that he can control me. So......you have to go to the movies and see! (Which is the most memorable scene?) In one scene I sat in a vehicle and acted with myself. That scene had its difficulties, as I had to perform the confused state after being hypnotized......"
That night the film company originally arranged for just one audience appreciation show after the meeting. Many of Brother Fai's fans traveled a long way but was unable to get tickets for the show. They asked their idol for help. Brother Fai in order to keep the fans from being disappointed announced an additional audience appreciation show. Brother Fai said, "Since the fans came from so far away to support me, I of course don't want to disappoint them. I don't mind adding another audience appreciation event. The promoters also were very grateful because they originally wanted to add another show but were afraid that the actors' scheduled would pretend it. They didn't dare to say anything." The addition audience appreciation show was rapidly sold out. Some fans even brought a big box of coffee to thank Brother Fai.
