Andy Lau Tak Wa earlier in FIND YOUR VOICE (YIT HUET HUP CHEUNG TUEN) while shooting a scene in which he braved the rain to stop a car almost got run over by Hugo Goh (Ng Toi Yung).
On the day of the shoot, playing the music teacher Yim sir, Wa Jai pleaded with Chancellor Law, Ng Toi Yung, for the choir he led to participate in competition. When Ng Toi Yung was prepared to drive off, Wa Jai ran out with his arms wide open to stop the car with his body. Although Wa Jai, Ng Toi Yung and the director studied the scene over and over, the rain hindered vision. In one of the takes Ng Toi Yung almost ran over Wa Jai. Ng Toi Yung said, "I wasn't certain about the car's horsepower, I didn't dare to step too hard on the gas pedal. By chance I just stepped on it a little, luckily everything was fine in the end."
Later Wa Jai kept shooting the car blocking scene in the rain for an entire morning. 6 rookie actors watched from the sideline to learn. Ng Wing Sze even joked that she wanted to towel off "Yim Sir". Wa Jai also shared with everyone the requirement for a wet scene: a diving suit. He said, "Remember to wear a diving suit underneath. The diving suit after getting wet would be sealed to the body to keep the warmth. Afterward you would just sit still and you wouldn't be cold."
