The 77 year old veteran actor Wong Shu Tong 3 years ago held stage two large intestinal cancer. After surgery he has already gradually recovered, only recently cancer cells invaded his lungs. Earlier due to difficulty with breathing he was sent to the hospital. Brother Tong's son Wong wing Cheung two days ago posted on social media to generate support for his father, hoping that he would be able to get over the crisis.

Wong Wing Cheung said, "In 2005 cancer took away my Ma, now cancer is torturing my Pa. Now he is in danger at the hospital, I hope to garner support and pray for his health."
