The Japanese manga SLAM DUNK's animated film THE FIRST SLAM DUNK after 4 days in release made more than HK$ 14 million. Many fans still has not paid the "pilgrimage", and many who have seen the Japanese version watched the Cantonese version again. Hence the box office continued to grow. According to the Hong Kong Box Office Co. Ltd., last week's top ten (January 9 to 15), THE FIRST SLAM DUNK was on top after 4 days in release. In second was AVATAR: WAY OF THE WATER, THE NARROW ROAD (JAK LO MEI CHUN) came in fourth with HK$ 6.2 million. Not officially released until February 2nd, TO MY NINETEEN YEAR OLD SELF's preview shows made over HK$ 5 million in fifth place. THE SPARRING PARTNER (JING YI WUI LONG) after 81 days in released came in eighth and accumulated HK$ 41.4 million. MAMA'S AFFAIR (AH MA YAU JOR DAI YI GOR) returned to the top ten last week, after 158 days in release it accumulated over HK$ 41.3 million.

MAMA'S AFFAIR facebook page yesterday posted photos from its celebration. Director Kearen Pang Sau Wai, Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, Jer Lau Ying Ting, CY Chan Chung Chak, Lai Ying and others attended. Boss Albert Yeung Sau Sing treated them to a 11 table banquet with a lucky drawing and lai see. Lead actor Keung To did not appear. Many online asked, "Where is Fong Ching (Keung To's character)?"
