Busy with his new film IP MAN 4, Donnie Yen Chi Tan
yesterday celebrated his 55th birthday. The team celebrated in advanced
with him while shooting on location in England. He even posted the photos
on social media and said that to be able to celebrate a birthday on the
set was fate. He also remembered his wife and children as he hoped to be
able to celebrate with them on the actual day. "Although I hope I will be
able to spend tomorrow with wife Cissy and the children, today is IP MAN
4's final production day in England. Here it is only the 26th, but I
still thank the team for celebrating my birthday in advance. Actually
over the 36 years in show business, countless birthdays were on the set!
All the seasons on the set is destiny between film and me, as well as
the audience and me! I am grateful."

played a stained teeth Filipino as he negotiated with criminals. In the
film Cheung Chi Lam played the chief inspector of the intelligence
division. He disguised himself as Filipino to investigate a case
undercover, with fake stained teeth and tattoos. He had to pretend to
need money laundering and came in contact with criminal organization
mastermind Liu Kai Chi and Louis Cheung Kai Chung. Cheung Chi Lam was
very pleased with his look and said that it would bring the audience a
sense of freshness. He did not mind playing ugly, as an actor should
have greater range to be entertaining.

The film TIN DOH YAU CHING SHUI YUET (HEAVENLY ROAD:
FRIENDSHIP AGE) two nights ago held a press conference. Actors Carrie Ng
Ka Lai, Richard Ng Yiu Hon, Carl Ng Ka Lung, Justin Cheung Kin Sing,
Kelly Chan Ka Lei and Eric Kwok Wai Leung attendd. Producer, director
and actor Chan Wai Man even brought his son and five year old grandson.
Chan Wai Man revealed that this time he would direct with Wong Lung Wai.
He only hoped that the film would not lose money so he would be able to
answer to investors. He never thought about making a big profit. Chan
Wai Man for now has not thought about letting his grandson act, since h
was afraid that he was too little to. Ng Ka Lai said that if children
were energetic enough, five year old could be a child star. Ka Lai
revealed that she and Chan Wai Man have known each other for ten years
and worked together on many movies. Thus this film when she was invited
she agreed without even asking about the salary. Chan Wai Man also
praised Ka Lai for her loyalty. The big sister in the film was the most
suitable for her to play.
Former couple Chan Ka Lei and Cheung Kin Sing were interviewed
together. Cheung Kin Sing called her "Miss Chan". Kelly said that in
the film she had more scenes with Emme Wong Yee Man, but she had no idea
who Cheung Kin Sing would work with. Cheung Kin Sing said that he was
planning and participating in the screenplay. He was a chore boy. As
for Ka Lei's social media video receiving a heart from Cheung Kin Sing,
were they already back together? Ka Lei said, "Lately I have been busy
with acting lessons, I haven't paid attention to the interaction on social
media so I don't know that he sent a heart!" Cheung Kin Sing followed,
"As long as the photo is pretty I would like it!" Were they already back
together? He said, "I will take it naturally. People would always have
moments when they get lost. I will worry about the future when it comes!"
Ka Lei added, "We are friends. Experience is a process. As an actor you
have to have experience to be able to act well!"

Veteran musician Leon Ko Sai Chiang's interpretation of
film scores as a musical, THE AMAZING FILMPHONY, earlier came in an end.
This time he worked with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta on classic music from
PERHAPS LOVE (YU GOR OI), THE WARLORD (TAU MING JONG), MONSTER HUNT, THE
GREAT MAGICIAN (DAI MOR SHOOK SI), MR. CINEMA (LO GONG JING JUEN) and
drew many celebrities like Hacken Lee Hak Kun, Alica Lau Nga Lai, Connie
Chan Bo Chu and Dexter Yang Tin King.
This time Leon used film score to connect the stage. He not only
asked four outstanding stage actors Jarita Wan Cheuk Yin, Margaret Cheung
Kwok Wing, Jordan Cheng Kwan Chi and Rick Lau Wing Hung to perform but
also personally performed one of the songs YOU LOVE ME. He said that he
has always been behind the scene and rarely performed on camera. However
this time he performed because a few parts would be easier to grasp the
expression if he performed himself. He was unusually nervous. Even the
conductor Yip Wing Sie joked that Leon's face would turn red from just
saying a few more words.
After the performance, Leon would take a break and joked that he
would sleep to relieve his stress. In the past he was too focused
on work and often worked until the middle of the night, the next day he
would have to get up early. Now he has learned that health would be the
most important.

Female director Lam Suk Ching earlier issued a statement
and claimed while shooting a Mainland series in Haikou she was sexually
assaulted and almost raped by a Mainland pilot in training. Afterward,
the Haikou police also expressed on its official blog that it would
further investigate the matter as a felony and that the suspect was
already in police custody. Director Lam two nights ago issued a second
statement in regard to the sexual assault. In it she thanked everyone
for their concern, the Hong Kong Federation of Film Workers and the Hong
Kong Film Directors' Guild for their support, as well as Tin Kai Man,
Andrew Lau Wai Keung and Stanley Kwan Kam Peng for their assistance. She
said that because the case was under investigation she was not at liberty
to reveal the details.
Sam Hui Koon Kit and Alan Tam Wing Lun will perform 11
shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum starting on August 5th. Like before, they
urged good friends and fans to make donations in lieu of flowers to the
charity organization Healthy Hong Kong to help seniors in need receive
free Chinese medical services and treatment; the names of all donors
will be posted on the appreciation board instead of the sea of flowers at
the venue to express their gratitude. Hui Koon Kit and Alan felt that
this was a win win situation. Flowers usually would only last a few days,
after they wilted they would become trash. If the money went to charity
instead it was both environmental protection and helping those in need.
