The film WU KONG held its premiere press conference. Eddie Peng Yu-Yan appeared handsomely with the golden staff. He looked forward to being able to perform Wukong with the special "Peng Yu-Yan" quality.
Ni Ni talked about her character. "On the first day on the set the director told me that this was a violent Loli(ta) image. It was like I played a female Wukong." Speaking of the intimate scene, Ni Ni even stated that the scene was very memorable. "We shot in the winter, Peng Yu-Yan had the flu at the time. His Mama treated his flu through his diet, in her secret sauce was a lot of garlic and onion. At the time I was able to sense Mama's love for him even when I stood from very far away." This sharing of "flavor of mystery" also filled the set with joy.
This was already Peng Yu-Yan and Ni Ni's second collaboration, yet another on screen romance. Peng Yu-Yan even revealed that in the film was the surprise of a goddess pursuing of monkey. They also reprise their "apron pulling" intimate scene from the film.
