"Cold faced comedian" Richard Ng Yiu Hong passed away from illness last month at age 83. Yesterday the funeral took place at the Universal Funeral Parlor in Hung Hom. In the afternoon the remains were transported to the Sheng Kung Hui Christ Church in Kowloon Tong for a private farewell ceremony for family and friends to bid farewell. His family were present, outside the church were an oil painting of Ng Yiu Hon in a suit and a family photo.

The private farewell ceremony began around 2PM and completely after almost an hour. Ng Yiu Hon's son Carl Ng Ka Lung carried his father's photo and stepped out of the church, silently following the Papa's coffin with sorrow. He watched the coffin being transported to the hearse. Ng Ka Lung after boarding the hearse kept looking at Ng Yiu Hon's photo next to him and held back her tears.
