Jeana Ho Pui Yu in the horror film SOCIAL DISTANCING (DIN JI LING) played a ghost again. In the film her character's sexually assault was recorded and posted online, after which she kept suffering from cyberbullying. At her lowest she chose to stream her suicide and ended up becoming a ghost; Jeana said that she was optimistic, in real life online comments would not bother her.
Speaking of the ghost look, she said that every time before work she had to spend 4 hours to put on the make up. "In order to create the rough skin effect, pieces of tissue had to be glued to the face. For several days in a row the look had to be maintained for over ten hours, and the glue could only be removed with make up removal liquid that contained alcohol. Taking off the make up took 1 hour, so it was very damaging to the skin. However I felt that it was worth the effort, because the result was realistic and beautiful, the most important is it is terrifying enough! After make up even I wouldn't dare to look at the mirror. When I went to the bathroom I would avoid the mirror."
