Veteran actor Kong To two days ago (the 15th) passed away from heart disease at the age of 89. Kong To did not have any children. Early this year in an interview he mentioned that Yu Mo Lin's charitable donate of her property after her passing inspired him, and he has already asked the Performing Artists Guild president Louis Koo Tin Lok, the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers spokesperson Tin Kai Man and former artist Dede Cheuk Wai Man to assist with the handling. After his passing all of his assets would be donated to charitable organizations.

Tin Kai Man admitted that he was one of the executors of Kong To's will. He revealed that when he had dinner with Kong To during the Lunar New Year, he arranged for an interview for him and helped him with his will. At the time he was still in decent condition. He did not expect that soon after Kong To set up his will, the news of his passing came. He said that Kong To was hospitalized with pneumonia. The night before his passing he was still in good spirit, so he believed that he was not in much pain when he passed. As for Kong To's arrangements, Tin Kai Man said that Kong To had family like younger siblings and they would handle the matter.
