The Hong Kong Film Award "Best Screenplay" winner for the movies TRIVISA (SHU DAI JIU FUNG) and DETECTIVE VS. SLEUTH (SUN TAM DAI JI), Mak Tin Shu directed and wrote the film DOG DAY EVENING (YUT GOR BO MOON DIK DAN SUN) for the first time. It would be released in June, and would star fresh out of the oven Hong Kong Film Awar Best Actress Fish Liew Chi Yu, Michael NIng (Bai Ji) and Mak Pui Tung. Fish boldly transformed in the film, playing the role of an anime fan otaku with a "slow turnover".
