Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Sun Honglei in new the film SILENT WITNESS (CHUEN MUN MUK GIK) played a prosecutor and a defendant. They engaged in a war of words in court and an acting duel. Sing Sing admitted that the biggest reason that he took the film was working with Sun Honglei. He said, "When I know we have a chance to work together, my first reaction is 'great'. I believe we definitely would have spark."
He also said that from the beginning to the end of the film he had to apply pressure to Sun Honglei, thus the eye performance was very important. In the past he has never performed with this method before. Did he crush him? Sing Sing said, "It's mutual, it's not a forceful pressure. It has to be accurate." Sing Sing and Tony Leung Ka Fai yelled at each other in COLD WAR (HONG JIN), this time he had a 8 minute exchange with Sun Honglei. Even the director had nothing but praise for them. After almost 30 years in the business, Sing Sing admitted that he still had a lot of development space and would not eliminate the possibility of directing in the future.
