Kara Wai Ying Hung in the film HAPPINESS (HUNG WON SI NGOR) played a character with Alzheimer's disease. Her outstanding acting won her this year's Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress. Recently Sister Siu Hung again with the film won the 2017 Barcelona Asian Film Festival Best Actress. In addition, its director Andy Lo (Law Yiu Fai) also received Best Director. Director Law attended the award ceremony and accepted Sister Siu Hung's award on her behalf.
The 54th Golden Horse Award will take place on November 25th. The event released the Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director nominee photos, including Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga), Ann Hui On Wa, Kara Wai Ying Hung, Shu Qi and Huang Bo. Best Actor nominee Takeshi Kaneshiro (Gum Sing Mo) due to scheduling was unable to participate in the shoot.
