The film DYNASTY WARRIORS (JUN SAM GOK MO SEUNG) two
nights ago held a charity premiere. Justin Cheung Kin Sing in the film
played Zhang Fei. He mentioned that the Hong Kong box office has been
rather decent, both the cast and the crew have been rather pleased.
However the Mainland box office was lower than expected, because for May
Day many different subject films were released. Cheung Kin Sing felt
fortunate that his performance as Zhang Fei has not received too many
criticism. He spoke about many viewers' discussions of whether the
actors resembled the characters. The costume designer already put in
all the effort and hoped that viewers would understand. He even
revealed that each time before the shoot he could let out of scream in
order to get more into the character. He said, "I just demonstrated it
and made everyone jump. Because each time I would scream, Boss Koo
(Louis Koo Tin Lok) finally couldn't take it anymore and asked me if I
was done. Haha!"
