Stephy Tang Lai Yan, Louis Cheung Kai Chung and Ivana Wong Yuen Chi yesterday afternoon appeared at the cinema to attend their film TABLE FOR SIX (FAN HEI GUNG SUM) audience appreciation event. The film has been in release for about 1 month and already passed HK$ 50 million, which elevated the team's morale! One of the leads Lin Minchen has already left Hong Kong but greeted the audience over video chat, and led the crowd to wish Tang Lai Yan and Peter Chan Cham Man happy birthday in October.

Tang Lai Yan was asked if the box office would reach HK$ 60 million she would celebrate by being sexy. She said, "Earlier when I went on vacation in Italy, I took some similar swimsuit photos. We will see. (What birthday wish do you have?) Box office success. If it would pass HK$ 60 million, for a comedy it really would be record breaking."

How would Tang Lai Yan celebrate her birthday? She said that she would spend it in audience appreciation events. When she would see the audience happy then she would be happy. Cheung Kai Chung thanked the audience for their support and believed that everyone would definitely have the chance to work together again. Wong Yuen Chi said that many family and friends watched the film again and again. Even more said that they would have to go to different cinemas to try different effects. Speaking of the director's interest in a sequel, she hoped that the director would arrange for several more gods for her to choose from. Would she choose Louis Koo Tin Lok? She said that her character had a god list, she would have to think about who to choose. Because her co-star Chan Cham Man hardly ever looked at her, he secretly left hate in her heart. Chan Cham Man asked her if Koo Tin Lok came she would still have to think about it? Wong Yuen Chi joked, "I wouldn't, but my character would."

Just completing his play Dayo Wong Tze Wa appeared at the film's audience appreciation event for the first time. When a viewer asked the most painful scene in the film, he actually got sentimental and broke down. He had to jump around several times to control his emotions.

Tze Wa got choked up on the stage and said that his character "big brother" was someone who really needed love and protection. When asked about the most painful scene in the film, he immediately got into the character's emotions. "One of the most painful scene was seeing Ma again. At the time (Fish) Liew Chi Yu still hasn't begun acting yet, but as soon as I saw her come out in costume I cried. I imagined everyone seeing Ma in her youth, standing where you are and talking......" Before he finished he got emotional again, and joked that he looked really bad. The entire audience cheered him on. After regaining his composure he continued, "Sorry, I embarrassed myself today. I attended too few audience appreciation events, but I stress that I personally am not like this. As soon as I talk about Big Brother I would get into that world." As the event neared its end, a cake was brought out for October birthday kids Tang Lai Yan and Chan Cham Man to celebrate in advance.

Tze Wa pointed out that the box office performance exceeded expectation, initially it was only projected to be HK$ 30 million. He joked that if it would be able to break into the Chinese language film box office top ten he would be even happier. Would he want to defeat the already second place WARRIORS OF FUTURE (MING YUT JIN GEI)? Tze Wa said that he only hoped for TABLE to be able to go even further. As for director Sunny Chan Wing Sun's intention for a sequel with the original team, other actors all said that Tze Wa's schedule was difficult to deal with. He said, "You can't just count me alone, all six people are very important. We can't be without any of us. However if everyone says that, I would definitely make room." Tze Wa even said that he looked forward to the next audience appreciation event. "If we would reach HK$ 60 million it would be a very joyous thing, meaning that many viewers have had a lot of fun from watching it."

Meanwhile, WARRIORS OF FUTURE after six weeks in release kept reaching new heights at the box office. Yesterday the film announced that it has already passed HK$ 65 million and had hope to break the 2016 film COLD WAR (HONG JIN)'s HK$ 66.82 million record to become the highest grossing Chinese language film in Hong Kong. Koo Tin Lok, Carina Lau Ka Ling, Philip Keung Ho Nam, Kevin Chu Kam Yin, Ng Siu Hin and Law Ho Ming yesterday went to a cinema for an audience appreciation event. A viewer said that he has already seen it 25 times. Koo Tin Lok thanked the audience for going to the movies to support the film, hoped to set a new record for Hong Kong film history and become the highest grossing Chinese language film.

Lau Ka Ling attended the audience appreciation event for the film for the first time, which Goo Jai joked that it was the first time in her life. Ka Ling said, "I promised Boss Koo if WARRIORS OF FUTURE would reach HK$ 70 million I would attend an audience appreciation event. Now we are close, we need to rely on everyone for the effort. I feel it would definitely be able to reach HK$ 70 million. Then we would be opening champagne and probably get a bonus." Koo Tin Lok responded, "Opening champagne is so minor, when we would get to HK$ 70 mill8ion we would have more good news to announce." Ka Ling thanked Koo Tin Lok for the opportunity. She felt that she was pretty cool in the film and was very honored to take place in Hong Kong's first science fiction film. She hoped that Koo Tin Lok would continue. She now would reserve her spot in the sequel, as she definitely would want a part in the next one.
