Best Actor Simon Yam Tat earlier worked with new comer Summer Chan Chi Huen on the film DELIVERANCE (YUEN SUN JUI). The film was selected for the Minsk International Film Festival and other international film festivals and won awards, including Best Actor (Yam Tat Wa), Best Actress (Chan Chi Huen) and Best Director (Kelvin Shum Ka Yin). Yam Tat Wa said about winning another Best Actor, "I am very happy to work with a new director this time, pass the torch in Hong Kong film, and continue to expand it."
Chan Chi Huen received the 15th Chicago Asian Pop Up Cinema Bright Star award. With DELIVERANCE she won Best Actress in the U.S. as well. Earlier she flew there to accept the award.
