The "Strongest in the Universe" Donnie Yen Chi Tan produced, directed and starred Lunar New Year film SAKRA (TIN LUNG BAK BO ji KIU FUNG JUEN) has opened for several weeks and kept receiving good news. The film's heat on several Mainland video platforms continued to grow, for days it topped the pay internet movie chart. Reportedly, currently 5 million people have viewed the film on Mainland pay channel as the film became the Spring Festival pay internet film box office champion. The total viewers reached 20 million and would likely set historical box office record again.
In addition, an U.S. streaming platform recently announced that it has already purchased SAKRA's online broadcast rights to a dozen or so countries and regions including Hong Kong. Chi Tan happily said, "I on behalf of the on and off camera heroes thank everyone for the recognition. Because making this movies wasn't easy at all, the entire team deserves the praise. I hope to see everyone down the road!"
