Actress Cya Liu Yase made her debut as an action actress in the Emperor Motion Picture CUSTOMS FRONTLINE (HOI GUAN JIN SIN) and she risked her life to perform. When she and Nicholas Tse Ting Fung were filming an explosion scene, her eyes were accidentally injured by chemicals. Her vision became blurred, and she tolerated it until the director yelled cut. When she could no longer move forward, she had to squat on the ground with her eyes covered. Her eyes hurt so much that they were difficult for her to open. Director Herman Yau Lai To noticed something was wrong, and the on site medical team and the staff rushed to treat Cya Liu. The chemical in her eyes took more than ten minutes to wash away. Yase later insisted that she was okay and could continue filming another action scene, but eventually Ting Fung persuaded her to stop. Ting Fung chuckled and said, "I seem to have run into another me!" Ting Fung recalled that in the past he was always brave, and felt that all action scenes seemed to be easy. After years of experience, he finally realized that filming action scenes required timing and attention to one's own safety.

Yase went to the hospital that day for treatment of her eye injury. The doctor said that his eyeball was scratched and 4 scars were left. She would see four dark spots in her vision, fortunately, she would gradually recover. After a day's rest, she could not wait to get back to work. When asked if she would be afraid of filming explosion scenes, she said, "I wasn't too scared when I was filming. When I heard the sound of the explosion and the light of fire at the scene, they were really scary. Actually they would really explode, I didn't expect them to be real. I was already very careful. I have always been less than courageous, so I stuck to Ting Fung and ran. I didn't know who the bomb blew up under my feet, it was an accident! Luckily now my eyes can still see." Ting Fung, who was also the action director, said to her, "The more courageous you perform, the more worried the on-site stunt team would be. The scariest was that if you just kept charging ahead, you would get hurt sooner or later."

"I am very concerned with every actor's stunt because when they get injured it would be really bad.
