In commemoration of their master Yu Jim Yuen, "Seven Little Fortunes" who he single handledly trained yesterday held a 50th anniversary banquet. Attendees included Seven Little Fortunes members Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Yuen Biao, Yuen Wah, Yuen Qiu and others, as well as guests Petrina Fung Bo Bo, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Lau Ching Wan, Nat Chan Pak Cheung, Wong Hung Sau, Yeung Pan Pan, Peter Lam Kin Ngok, Raymond Chow Man Wai and Ng See Yuen. Yu Jim Yuen's daughter Yu So Chau also returned from San Francisco but did not accept any interview. Rumored to be already 81, she would only stay in Hong Kong for a few days. The evening also had an auction to raise fund for the educational foundation, the proceeds of which will provide Hong Kong student development in a variety of educational events. Andy Lau Tak Wa, Chow Yun Fat and Simon Yam Tat Wa all made donations to be auctioned. Wa Jai
donated calligraphy and Fat Gor donated photos that he took. The event also had face change, Beijing Opera skit performance. Jackie Chan and Sandy Lam Yik Lin even performed the Olympic theme song LIKE A DREAM.

Sammo did not donate any item to the auction. Although he has not seen Yu So Chau in years, he felt that she did not change much. Since she came to Hong Kong, Sammo will take her around town and relive some past memory. With a Beijing Opera background, Sammo has not performed in 40 years, but last night he with fellow disciples played skits like IRON ROOSTER (TEET GUNG GAI) and HEAVENLY OFFICIAL GRANTS FORTUNE (TIN GUOON CHI FOOK). However he would not longer perform somersault. Sammo felt that many disciples lived overseas and not everyone was free, he believed that another reunion like this would be very difficult. He sighed, "We have known each other for fifty years, now almost everyone was 60. The internal state is the most important. I am only 28 inside, 3 years older than Alan (Tam Wing Lun)."

Yuen Biao last night also performed a skit. He said that everyone came up with the ideas and planned them for four to five months. He said, "Although many disciples are in show business, we rely on our original trade in order to survive. (Will you reveal childhood stories?) Some of the more mischievous brothers might, I don't think it's a big deal." Currently working in Taiwan, Sister Bo Bo attended at the invitation of Yeung Pan Pan. She expressed that she has already been in Taiwan for two months and returned to Hong Kong three times. She not was only an actress but also an editor because her oldest son told her to help people when she could. Now many films lacked production budget so she helped with editing. Would she work with her son? She said, "I don't know if we will have this chance. I worry that my son will scold me because the director has that power."

Lau Ching Wan recently was caught running and taking Chinese herbal medicine and was accused of planning fatherhood. He honestly said that he often took walks and ran, but did the accusation bother him? He said, "No, even if it isn't they still write about it?" Would he have a child sooner to avoid being written about? He said, "Hey" and did not directly respond. He also expressed that his wife would run with him but that day the sun was very strong so she did not. Ching Wan also pointed out that Seven Little Fortunes is a very important part of Hong Kong film industry. Has she met Yu So Chau? He expressed that years ago he met her while performing in San Francisco with TVB and felt that she was very mild mannered. Nick Cheung Ka Fai last night attended at Yuen Biao's invitation, but he worked with many "Seven Little Fortunes" elders before. He said, "Although I mostly take a beating in films but actually getting hit is very technical." Ka Fai also revealed he just attended his daughter's school event when she sang. He joked that he took pictures for her but did not film it because he did not know how to.
