BODYGUARDS AND ASSASSINS (SUP YUET WAI SING)'s Peter Chan Ho Sun, Huang Jianxin and Teddy Chan Tak Sum yesterday again led actors Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Wang Xueqi, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Chris Li Yuchun, Fan Bingbing, Wong Po-Chieh to a Shanghai press conference.

After the Beijing premiere, the film won word of mouth but some media criticized Yen Chi Tan's performance as shades of Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit)'s THE WARLORDS (TAU MING JONG) performance and that the dramatic scenes were better than the action. Yen Chi Tan was rather interested in these critiques and expressed that when he watched the movie he cried several times. Some film critic called Li Yuchun as BODYGUARDS AND ASSASSINS' nuclear weapon, but she joked that she was no nuclear weapon. At most she was a hand grenade, Chi Tan was the atomic bomb. Wang Xueqi, Tse Ting Fung and Lee Yuchun after the Beijing premiere received media interviews. Yesterday someone asked Lee Yuchun to evaluate her and Xiao Shenyang's positive and negative points. Lee Yuchun said that she still was a new comer and still had to learn a lot more in front of numerous veterans. Chan Ho Sun said that Lee Yuchun actually was more suitable for modern films. He would like the chance to work with her on one later. Would Lee Yuchun mind kiss scenes? Lee Yuchun joked that as long as the director did not mind she would not.

Tse Ting Fung yesterday talked about working on the "Street Fighter scene" with Hu Jun. He said that Hu Jun had to viciously attack him. He knew hitting someone was very awkward. After a few hits from Hu Jun he felt no pain. So he asked a friend to do so, after which his response was the most realistic. Tse Ting Fung's risk taking spirit indeed received all actors' recognition. Wang Po-Chieh expressed after watching Ting Fung's attack scene broke down. Leung Ka Fai joked that after watching it he went home and cried all night. Ka Fai also said that he was like a seller. In the film he sold the revolution and in reality he sold the film. when the media discussed the issue of "fake big film", Bingbing asked reporters which one was a "fake big film"? She said, "Real can't be fake, fake can't be real."
