Best Actor Tony Leung Chiu Wai turned 50 and stars came to celebrate, even the rarely seen May Lo (Law Mei Mei) came in support! Wai Jai in order to thank his friends performed to entertain his guests with many humorous gestures.  Jacky Cheung Hok Yau who is just as funny makes a perfect pair with him. No wonder Shi Nansun wants to put them together in another comedy!

Leung Chiu Wai's wife Carina Lau Ka Ling and his friends celebrated at Wai Jai's home. Because Wai Jai has been working on the film THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) in Guangzhou, Shi Nansun, Derek Yee Tung Sing originally planned to bring the party to the Mainland. Director Wong Kar Wai who has always loved Wai Jai finally gave him time off to celebrate in Hong Kong.

Although the party was decided to be held in Hong Kong at the last minute, stars like Brigitte Lin (Lam Ching Ha), Cheung Hok Yau, Lui Fong, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To), Cecilia Yip Tung and her husband, even a rare guest Hok Yau's wife Law Mei Mei attended. Ka Ling sent her assistant to bring chocolate to reporters.  Wai Jai of course was very happy. At the party he performed to entertain his guest and had a perfect comedy partner in Cheung Hok Yau.  Thus someone suggested for them to reunite for a comedy and bring back the classic DAYS OF BEING DUMB (AH FEI YU AH GEI)! Guest and film company executive Shi Nansun admitted that she was very interested in the pair. "Of course I am interested, both have such genes for comedy and are so well kept after all these years! (Would you ask Yee Tung Sing to direct?) Good suggestion, I would properly consider it."

Because "Gor Gor" Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing would also celebrate Wai Jai's birthday in the past, two nights ago Hok Yau, Alex To Tak Wai, Lui Fong and Chung Chun To sang Gor Gor's songs for Wai Jai. Sing did not attend due to illness but sent his wife to represent him. Eric Tsang Chi Wai who was overseas also called to congratulate him. Ka Ling not only shared many of the party photos but also said, "Thank you management comany Jet Tone and director Wong Kar Wai. (What did you give Wai Jai?) It's practical, something that he can use."
