The Peter Chan Ho Sun produced and directed film AMERICAN DREAMS IN CHINA after a few weeks in Mainland released is already near 400 million at the box office. Two nights ago he held a special screening for friends in Hong Kong and invited five Best Actors and a Best Actress Leon Lai Ming, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Eric Tsang Chi Wai and Anita Yuen Wing Yi, as well as Chingmy Yau Suk Ching, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Fala Chen, Shawn Yue Man Lok, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To), Choi Yat Chi, Media Asia boss Peter Lam Kin Ngok and former Golden Harvest boss Raymond Chow Man Wai and his wife.
During a group photo, Yue Man Lok wisely gave up the center spot to boss Lam Kin Nogk, but Lam Kin Ngok was inevitably standing next to Len Len who was linked to him in rumors in the past. Before Len Len dated Julian Cheung Chi Lam she was rumored to have had a chubby boyfriend. However their rumor was such a long time ago, even when they ran into each other they were not embarrassed. They even nodded in greeting; coincidentally Cheung Chi Lam did not join the group photo but showed up later. The divorced Lai Ming whose former wife Gaile Lok was rumored to wed a water skiing instructor still came in support. Although he was late and missed the group photo, before going in he said, "Peter and I are good friends, so I have to come and support him. I am still waiting for a chance to work with Peter again."
Lai Ming was not the only one who wanted to work with Peter. Fellow Four Great Heavenly King Kwok Fu Sing due to numerous offers revealed that he turned down Peter's scripts twice. However he looked forward to working with him on the third time. Sing Sing said, "Peter approached me twice to work together, I was very happy but we just passed each other by. Next year I still have time, I am waiting for him to approach me." Sing Sing was very happy about his horse's victory and even boasted, "It's all thanks to my eye for horses. I am very happy to get a victory for the horse fans." Reportedly Christine Kuo was good luck for him. Sing Sing said, "This is just some nonsense news, made up story, just for laughs!" As for rumors that he wanted to buy Christine Kuo a home, Sing Sing only said, "One word: Stupid!" Then he went inside.
Cheung Ka Fai actually just dined with Chi Wai, Len Len and Yau Suk Ching. He said that lately every 2 or 3 months he would meet with this group of friends in the business, he had a lot of joy, sense of security and played freely. He joked that he was very happy to run into his similar looking "brother" Cheung Hok Yau. For UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) Ka Fai won praises for his shape that he trained into. He joked that the magazine cover was like a photo book release, but his wife Esther Kwan Wing Ho's response was lukewarm. Ka Fai joked, "Old Lady didn't react much. One day I was asleep, she slapped me awake and said that my muscles were exploding. Actually no matter how I am, she always says she loves me very much." Ka Fai joked that in the past he was not anxious about going out, after the training he wanted to patrol the beach and attract women's attention. However he did not want men to apply lotion for him, as he only liked women. Recently a director suggested for him to play a fat guy, but he was busy with movies and thought that reaching the required weight would be very tough.
