Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and Donnie Yen Chi Tan received the Outstanding Asian Artist Awards at the 4th New York Chinese Film Festival. Their other halves Real Ting Chi Ko and Cissy Wang attended with them and shared their joy. Chin Wa happily said that the film award was a shot of confidence.
On this rare occasion to attend an event with Yen Chi Tan, Vicki Zhao Wei and others, they met for dinner to discuss parenthood. Cissy Wang said that her son was the most afraid of her cutting his hair. Chin Wa's son was the most afraid of her in make up. Chin Wa said, "Sometimes after make up my son would stare at me like a stranger and had to take a few more looks before recognizing me and whining to be picked up." She and her husband took the chance to stay a few more days to enjoy their time as a couple.
Yen Chi Tan felt honored and touched to be recognized. He said, "I hope Yen Kung Fu films in the future will continue to be shiny and bright overseas." He was popular with fans everywhere as he was asked for photos and autographs. He would occasionally treat work like dating as he took walks with his wife Cissy Wang on the streets.
