Anita Mui Yim Fong passed away 10 years ago, 10 years later her bronze statue finally will be able to stand tall at the Victoria harbor for Mui fans of the entire world to witness the glory of this "Daughter of Hong Kong".
The Anita Mui fan club yesterday announced that after over three years of planning, production and technical experience, the first Mui Yim Fong bronze statue finally has been completed to honor her achievements and contributions to the society. The statue will be unveiled on July 18 on the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui. The ceremony will take place at 7PM.
