The film SPL 2 (SAT POR LONG II) two nights ago held its premiere at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Center. Aside from leads Wu Jing, Tony Jaa and Simon Yam Tat Wa, other guests included Fiona Sit Hoi Kei, Andy Hui Chi On, Edmond Leung Hong Man, Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau), Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung and his girlfriend Venus Wong Man Yik. Tony Jaa even demonstrated his kicks. Sun Entertainment boss Chau Cheok Wa who became a father twice recently also attended.
Tony Jaa yesterday already returned to Thailand. He said that he was busy with promotions on this trip and did not have time to visit at all. Later he will begin the Mainland promotional tour. He admitted that he was very nervous about the Mainland box office, hoped to slowly enter the Mainland market and begin a friendship; speaking of the fight scenes in the film, he said that every actor was able to fight. Although injuries were inevitable, everyone did what was best for the film. He also said that he would definitely participate in the third installment. Which Hong Kong actors would he like to work with? He said that he would like to work with Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit), Chow Yun Fat, Stephen Chow Sing Chi. Who did he feel was better between Donnie Yen Chi Tan and Jackie Chan? He said, "They each have their own specialty. It's very hard to say who is better." Was Brother Wa talking to his boss about raising daughters? He first said "Aye" then changed the subject, "I have to congratulate SPL II on its box office success, I also have to congratulate myself on the complete recovery from my earlier hand injury." He said that Chau Cheok Wa did not need daughter raising advice because he already had a lot of experience.
,BR>Reportedly Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming)'s Mainland ban has been lifted. His friend Fiona said that she has not contacted him and hoped to confirm the news before congratulating him. She also said that she has known Cho Ming for years, thought that he was very hard working and willing to share his new creations with friends. She was also half a fan of his. She joked that she would not be a whole fan because she was afraid that he would be prideful. Fiona also revealed that they had normal contact so she knew that he was creating. However she hoped that he would talk about it himself. Would she like to work with Cho Ming when he returns? She said that many people would like to before he even asked, but she did not want to suggest it herself. The closer a friend she was the less she should mention it.
