Recently someone impersonated an employee of Infinitus Films under the Andy Lau Tak Wa created Focus Group's banner to rent a restaurant for location shoot. Infinitus Films issued a statement, saying, "Recently a man named Gan falsely claimed to be an Infinitus Films employee who was responsible for production and location rental for the already in production film THE DEFECTED (TEET TAM). Infinitus Films has never participated in the production of the film version of THE DEFECTED and has not assigned any employee to rent locations. The behavior of the aforementioned person is completely fraudulent and has other intention. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and prevent fraud. If anyone continues with this false narrative or fraudulent behavior, Infinitus Films will plea a complaint with law enforcement agencies and hold the party accountable."
