[2020.06.12] HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL SELECTS MICHAEL HUI AS ITS FILMMAKER IN FOCUS

The Hong Kong International Film Festival originally was scheduled to take place in March but was postponed due to the novel coronavirus. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council in February announced that the Hong Kong International Film and Television Market 2020 will be postponed to take place on August 27th to 29th.

The Hong Kong International Film Festival Association earlier on its official site announced that the 44th Hong Kong International Film Festival will take place from August 18th to 31st. The program details will be announced on July 28th and tickets will go on sale starting August 5th. Reportedly veteran comedy actor Michael Hui Koon Man will be this year's Filmmaker in Focus, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing will be this year's Hong Kong International Film Festival ambassador and rising film stars Neo Yau Hawk Sau and Jennifer Yu Heung Ying will be the youth ambassadors.
