The Jiang Wen, Chow Yun Fat, Ge You, Carina Lau Ka Ling starred Emperor new film LET THE BULLETS FLY has already broken 400 million at the Mainland box office. Many of the famous lines came from Ge You, like "Women you don't want, money you don't want, what do you want?", "Is this necessary?", "Do you want to kill me or sleep with me?". They left the audience applauding and laughing and became trendy slangs for young people.

Aside from Ge You's golden lines, director Jiang Wen's dark humor was also a big selling point. The rare "acting battle" between Chow Yun Fat, Ge You and Jiang Wen was of course another. Anita Mui Yim Fong passed away 7 years ago. Her fan club last night on the roof of the Fringe Club held a "TONIGHT ONLY BECAUSE OF YOU 2010" memorial event. On display were Ah Mui's film stills and her films. Over 100 fans from Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Japan attended. Before the ceremony began, they held a moment of silence.

Huang Yi in the film THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED (YUT LO YAU NEI) played a pregnant wife whose husband died at the hands of truck driver Louis Koo Tin Lok. Later she and Goo Jai met and developed the story. When Huang Yi took the role she was at a low point in her personal

life as she was dealing with her divorce. Because she had some experience, she was reminded of a lot. She said that if she took the film ten years ago she might not be able to play this character. She felt that love was Heaven granted, life has more than romance but also family and friendship. For now work came first for her.

Speaking of her view on love, Huang Yi said that she was full of hope in life and love. As for lightning weddings, she felt that time was not a factor. Short time did not mean poor result, and long time did not mean people would be together. Finally it depended on their destiny. She

pointed out that the different stages of her life needed different times, now she remained very sensible about love. However her experience helped with her acting and made her more mature. As for the most memorable scene, she said, "In one scene I couldn't stop crying because it was an emotional release." She also said that her co-star Goo Jai worked very hard on his Putonghua. On and off the camera he worked hard and was focused, his sincerity touched her.

Director Derek Chiu Sung Kei said that ten years ago he worked with Goo Jai on SEALED WITH A KISS (TIM YIN MUK YU). At the time Goo Jai did not speak. Ten years ago they ran into each other again, he thought that his acting was truly looking for change as he did not make anyone feel he was an idol. As for Goo Jai's poor Putonghua, he said that this character was a commuting drivers so his Putonghua might not have to be fluent. Since the story began with an accident, it reminded many of the producer Derek Yee Tung Sing directed LOST IN TIME (MONG BUT LIU). He said that if Chiu Sung Kei did not ask to work with him, no one would make such a connection. The Metro Hit Award took place two nights ago. Andy Lau Tak Wa won the Global Hit Most Popular Best Singer but since he was performing his concert he could not attend. His star fans Twins actually delivered the award to him, which was quite a pleasant surprise for Wa Jai.

The Andy Lau Unforgettable Concert two nights ago continued at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Aside from the exceptional guests Louie Castro (Ga Si Lok) and Sally Yeh (Yip Sin Man), twos nights ago he invited two groups, Twins and at17. Twins even had a surprise. After Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin and Gillian Chung Yun Tung attended the Metro Hit Award they rushed to the Hong Kong Coliseum and secretly brought Wa Jai's Global Hit Most Popular Best Singer award.

Wa Jai was sentimental when he introduced Twins. "I watched them start in the beginning, they are a lot like me. We both had ups and downs, every time I was down I would receive their comforting text messages." Twins then appeared with Wa Jai's award and Wa Jai was very surprised. "I don't have to attend to get the award?" Ah Sa and Ah Gil not only won Wa Jai over with their action but also said that they were super Wa Jai fans and fan club members. However Wa Jai revealed that they rarely participated in fan club events. Twins joked, "We are permanent honoary members!"

Tony Leung Chiu Wai two days ago after promoting THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) in Beijing returned to Hong Kong yesterday. He revealed that he will return to the Mainland later to continue the shoot and believed that he will not have any time off until the Lunar New

This year's first music industry report card the Metro Hit Award 2010 took place last night at the Convention Center. Eason Chan Yik Shun had five and a half awards, Joey Yung Cho Yi had five, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa had four, Kay Tse On Kay, Hins Cheung King Hin, Andy Hui Chi On and Denise Ho Wan Si each had three, Raymond Lam Fung only had one. As for record companies, East Asia was the big winner with 23 awards, Universal had 22 and a half, and Emperor had 22.

As the year's first music award, not all the singers attended. For example Leo Ku Kui Ke and Lam Fung were absent due to work. However many top singers like Chan Yik Shun, Yung Cho Yi, Yeung Chin Wa and Tse On Kay dressed up for the event. The event also as usual arranged for a group photo of the singers. In the first row Yung Cho Yi stood next to her good friend Ho Wan Si, William Chan Wai Ting was behind girlfriend Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin. Tse On Kay who was in a long gown received a hand from rival Joey when she left the stage. The sexiest should Sherman Chung Shu Man who wore a red strap dresses. She and her company colleague Vincy Chan (Wing Yi) both dressed up.

The host Bob asked William if his girlfriend Ah Sa won what would he say to her? William declared his love to her and said "I love you", leaving everyone there amazed. Gillian Chung Yun Tung, William Chan Wai Ting, and Michelle Wai (Si Nga) starred EX (CHIN DOH) today released its Cantonese version all over the Guangdong province. Earlier the film held a press conference in Guangdong.

The leads were very excited that the film was able to be released in the Guangdong province. Ah Gil very tensely said that the film company fought for a long time before the successful Mainland release. Now seeing it coming to fruition everyone was very excited. Si Nga honestly said that it was his first time working in Guangdong. She was very happy to see how passionate fans were and she was left with a beautiful and memorable impression. LOVER'S DISCOURSE (LUEN YUN SHUI YU) will be released next week. William Chan Wai Ting and Jacky Heung Jor played the same character in the film. They looked very similar in the film. During the shoot even Mrs. Heung who visited the set almost could not tell which one was her son.

Director Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung said that as early as when the script was being written, he already had Chan Wai Ting and Heung Jor in mind. He said, "This story was 12 years apart, we thought that it had to be convincing for the audience." Director Derek Chiu Sung Kei, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Karen Mok Man Wai, and Huang Yi secretly prepared a birthday cake, which was quite a pleasant surprise for him.

Ten years ago, Koo Tin Lok worked with Chiu Sung Kei on SEALED WITH A KISS (TIM YIN MUK YU). Ten years later, they worked together on THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED. Chiu Sung Kei said, "When Goo Jai worked on my movie, he still wasn't famous. Now he is already completely different, but his personality is just as good." He also praised Mok Man Wai's

performance as intimate and natural, which made Mok Man Wai a little emotional. Huang Yi hoped that everyone would be able to see a different Huang Yi.

Goo Jai took a gang beating in the film. Fake blood got into his eye but he still insisted on waiting until the director yelled cut before washing his eyes. He was very professional. He recalled, "In that scene a group of thugs beat me up very severely, I had a head full of rather deep wounds so a lot of blood was used. One of the make up between the temple and the cheek was closer to the eye so the more I moved the more blood got into my eye. The blood was not only irritating but also hurt so much that I could hardly open my eye. That eye at the time could not see anything at all, I could only rely on one eye to see everything around me." When asked why he did not stop the shoot to wash his eye. Goo Jai joked, "I was afraid that the second take would be the same, I might as well make this take well. I didn't want to suffer one more time."

Yee Tung Sing described THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED as LOST IN TIME (MONG BUT LIU)'s sister chapter. Three leads did not have a naive love triangle but a delicate relationship that was very touching. It hoped to give everyone a taste change in the fiercely competitive holiday slots. Director Derek Chiu Sung Kei worked with Koo Tin Lok again, ten years after SEALED WITH A KISS (TIM YIN MUK YU). Once distributed over 1,000 films, the Sil-Metropole Organization celebrated its 60th anniversary with an even last night in Beijing. Many film professionals attended. Most of the attention went to the Wong Kar Wai directed THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI)'s cast including Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Zhang Ziyi, Zhao Benshan, Chang Chen, Song Hye-Kyo, Xiao Shenyang and Wang Qingxiang, who rushed from the Guangdong set. The team presented an oild painting poster to the company.

The Hong Kong film representative group was enormous, with Sil-Metropole famous film professionals Zhang Xinyan, Zhu Hong, Pak Yan, Henry Fong Ping and Paw Hee Ching, Ann Hui On Wa, Stanley Kwan Kam Peng, Karen Mok Man Wai, Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, Pang Ho Cheung, Gordon Chan Ka Seung, Ng See Yuen, Eric Tsang Chi Wai and others. Mainland representatives included host Zhang Guoli, Jia Zhangke, Siqin Gaowa and others. Host Zhang Guoli with his sunglasses on joked that this trailer was mysterious enough, after such a long shoot the trailer had no scene at all. Then actors Leung Chiu Wai, Song Hye-Kyo, Xiao Shenyang, Zhang Ziyi, Zhao Benshan, Wang Qingxiang appeared on stage.

Speaking of the fight scenes, Wai Jai said that he was not worried as he practiced for a long time. He practiced so many that his arm was broken at the hand of his mentor. Zhang Guoli joked that the scene of Wai Jai's arm being broken was not preserved, which truly was a regret for

Chinese film because it was worth a lot of money. The fight scene in the rain he said was very difficult and took all 30 days. Zhang Guoli joked that it only took 30 days, someone had to thank Wong Kar Wai. Normally it might take 3 months. Zhang Ziyi in the film played a martial art expert, Zhang Guoli praised her eight diagram palm in the snow scene was very pretty. Zhang Ziyi said that this scene was shot last winter. She recalled the 30 degree below zero (Celsius) shoot environment as truly tough. Chang Chen played an eight diagram expert. For the film he trained two years but the training benefited him a lot. Even his health improved. Song Hye-Kyo in the film played Wai Jai's wife, but they did not stand together on the stage last night. Song Hye-Kyo joked that in the film she had to be with Wai Jai all the time in the film so she had to keep her distance. This was her first film shoot in China, she truly was pleased to be able to work with a group of such great actors. She thanked director Wong Kar Wai for his help, because at first she was not too used to it. Director Wong helped her a lot. Wong Kar Wai appeared in the end to pose for a group photo with the cast. Originally Zhang Guoli asked Wai Jai to make a kung fu pose but Wai Jai only had his hands in his pockets and played cool. He explained that he was dressed modernly so he made this pose. The actors finally sang a birthday song to celebrate Sil-Metropole's 60th year, but they looked somewhat embarrassed.

The Pang Ho Cheung produced LOVER's DISCOURSE (LUEN YUN SHUI YU) will be released in Beijing. Last night he came to celebrate. As for the upcoming LOVE IN A PUFF (JI MING YU CHUN GIU) sequel and rumors that Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) joining the cast as the third party between Shawn Yue Man Lok and Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, he said that the script was still being written and the cast has not been decided.
