Chip Tsao (Tao Kit) yesterday attended the film ENTHRALLED (OI.CHUM.MAI)'s special screening. He received a "lips of amber" award from the Polish consulate general in Hong Kong for his honesty and directness in the media. However he felt that he did not deserve the award. "Because my friend Lau Chun To was attacked and hospitalized with severe injuries, I am not yet qualified to receive this award that pursues freedom and justice. I represent all of Hong Kong creators and news workers in acceptance of the award, together we will protect creative freedom." He said that he and Lau Chun To's wife have communicated through text messages and learned that Lau Chun To's progress was OK.
The Wong Hei directed and starred film has already found an investor and he is looking for actors. He said, "I wrote a story about Hong Kong people. Since it mentions politics, drugs and sex, it can't enter the Mainland market." Speaking of Chief Executive C.Y. Leung's daughter's war of words online with Chapman To Man Chak and others, Wong Hei said, "Miss Leung honestly expresses that her ideas and dares to speak up, the war of words online reflects how valuable freedom of speech is."
