Kelly Chen Wai Lam talked about working with Tony Leung Ka Fai and Dior Cheng Yi Kin on HORSEPLAY (DOH MA GEI) on a radio interview. Kelly said, "This time I tried to be funny with Leung Ka Fai and learned the comedy production method. Many ideas came from the actors themselves. Ka Fai was thinking every second and even delivered his co-stars' lines. In a solo scene I couldn't come up with anything funny so I asked Ka Fai for help. He very generously taught me several different methods, and I got it done in one take!" In addition, Kelly in the film had dangerous scenes like rock climbing and chases. Because of a loose rope she fell from the first floor. Luckily she was fine.

This time she left Hong Kong for a month. She admitted that before getting on the plane she already missed her sons. A week later when she learned that her sons were fine without her around, she finally relaxed and got into the shoot. She felt that the production was very fun. If she ran into a good script she would consider it again. Earlier she and the cast arrived in Beijing for the HORSEPLAY promotional tour. Director Gordon Chan Ka Seung even wished his friend Lee Chi Ngai success on his new film.
