Media Asia China and S.M. Entertainment contract signing press conference took place at the People's Great Hall in Beijing yesterday afternoon. Attending guests included Media Asia chief Peter Lam Kin Ngok, SM chief Lee Soo-Man, Kbro Media's Lo Wing Fai and artists Leon Lai Ming, Kangta (Ahn Chil-Hyun), SJ-M's Choi Si-Won, EXO's Suho (Kim Jun-Myun) and Park Chan-Yeol, f(x)'s Victoria (Song Qian) and Jang Ri-In (Zang Liyin).

Lai Ming, Kangta and Choi Si-Won gave the opening speeches. Lai Ming said in Putonghua, "Today I am very happy to be here at the solemn and grand location of the People's Great Hall to participate in and witness my home Media Asia Group and SM Group's collaboration press conference. As many people know, Mainland China's film market is thriving in its development. This year the revenue has been estimated to be over 28 billion yuan RMB, it is the second largest market in the world." Kangta first greeted the guests in Putonghua, then said in Korean, "Actually Korean viewers loves film very much as well, last year each Korean on average has gone to the movies more than four times -- the most in the world." Choi Si-Won also used simple Putonghua to greet and introduce himself. He said in Korean that if the two lands' entertainment cultures exchange and influence each other, the Mainland will be a market of 140 billion yuan RMB -- a dream filled number. Then they invited Lam Kin Ngok, Lee Soo-Man and Lo Wing Fai to the th stage for the electronic contract signing ceremony on tablets.

The event announced that SM's SJ-M, f(x), EXO and female singer Jang Ri-In will be exclusive to Media Asia China. Choi Si-Won again appeared on the stage and joked that with media from everywhere gathered there he had to promote his group SJ-M's new song, everyone cracked up. Under the leadership of SM and Media Asia executive representatives, a giant cauldron was lit with large torches to symbolize SM artists' burning up in China. The press conference's final announcement was the "SMTown Live WOrld Tour" will take place on October 18 at the Shanghai Stadium. Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Jang Ri-In, Tasty, Red Valvet and others artists will appear.
