15 years ago when the Hong Kong film market fell into its lowest period, Peter Lam Kin Ngok purchased Media Asia film company and invested in his first film INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH). It rocked the world film industry and brought glory back to Hong Kong film. Two nights ago Media Asia Group held an event in Beijing. As Media Asia film chief Gordon Chan Ka Seung said, last year was Media Asia film's "preparation year". The entire team was actively in preparation for the 470 million yuan giant production MANHUNT, the upcoming release LOVE OFF THE CUFF (CHUN GIU GAU JI MING), the costume fantasy film LEGEND OF THE NAGA PEARLS, the hero action film GOD OF WAR, the historical film THE FOUNDING OF AN ARMY, the 3D LEGEND OF THE CONDOR HEROES and the television series INFERNAL AFFAIRS to bring good movies and shows in 2017.

Bona film group chief Yu Dong dragged Director Andrew Lau Wai Keung to the stage to introduce the August 1st release of THE FOUNDING OF AN ARMY. Yu Dong revealed that Lau Wai Keung spent over a year on research and visited a variety of history museums and memorial halls. Lau Wai Keung admitted that he felt an unprecedented pressure, everyday was heart pounding. He sad, "At first when I was asked to direct THE FOUNDING OF AN ARMY, how would I shoot it? I had no idea! The company was rather supportive of me, giving me its full support. Now I am busy with editing. The film was in production for many years. This time the pressure was the greatest, everyday was heart pounding because everyday we had explosion scenes. Sometimes we had several explosion scenes in one night, all with real explosions and not computer effects. Everyday I worried about people getting hurt. After every explosion the first thing I would ask was is anyone hurt? Silence was the most terrifying. Finally when someone answered then I was at ease. I was scared everyday I was on the set."

In addition, Media Asia television program production chief Leung Ka Shu brought the unaired INFERNAL AFFAIRS season 2 trailer. He said that because the film version director Lau Wai Keung was in the audience he felt the pressure.
