The 2018 Miss Hong Kong pageant took place last night at the Television City in Tseung Kwan O. Public voting decided the top three, in the end favorite candidate 17 Hera Chan Hiu Wa won the crown for Miss Hong Kong; the first runner up was the pre race "dark horse" candidate 20 Amber Tang Cheuk Yan won Miss Photogenic as well; second runner up candidate 7 Sara Ting Chi Tin. The candidates chose Miss Congeniality, candidate 8 Claudia Chan Ching Hiu. All three broke into tears of joy as the candidates wiped away Chan Hiu Wa's tears with tissues in a show of friendship.
