For Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area" press conference at
the Wan Chai Convention Center on the 20th. Bauhinia Culture Group and
Lai Sun Group held a contract signing ceremony. Both parties
announced that they would begin a strategic alliance in film
investment, film, concert productions and announced plan to invest on
10 film productions. The first to open would be the June 23rd release
LOOK UP (YUT YEUNG DIK TIN HUNG).
One of the films the two companies would collaboration on
would be a science fiction film about space travel, TIN TAI (STAIRWAY
TO HEAVEN). Best Actor Koo Tin Lok would produce it. He said that
the meaning of the title was an elevator that would directly reach
space. The film would construct a 360 degree LED virtual reality
set in Hengqin. Aside from the elevator, the set would also include
Earth and space. It would be very complicated but also be able to
strengthen the realism. Actors would not need to act only with their
imagination like before. Goo Jai revealed that the film would work
with China National Space Administration and this time would
hire more young people to participate and help them fulfill their
film dream.
