[2023.08.14] THE LESLIE CHEUNG EXHIBITION WELCOMES ITS 300,000TH VISITOR

The Hong Kong Heritage Museum would commemorate the 20th anniversary of the superstar of a generation Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's passing with MISS YOU MUCH LESLIE exhibition, which welcomed the 300,000th visitor yesterday. The Museum presented the 300,000th visitors with 3 guest planners William Chang Suk Ping, Wing Shya and Chan Suk Fun's autographed exhibition poster, free movie ticket to the Hong Kong Film Archives' REVISITING THE GLORY DAYS -- THE LEGACY OF LESLIE AND ANITA (SCREENING), a Leslie Cheung 20th anniversary retro rose memorial badge, and a HONG KONG POP 60+ gift pack. The 300,000th visitor was the Lee family, the couple both really liked to listen to Cheung Kwok Wing's songs. They felt that Cheung Kwok Wing was the collective memory of Hong Kong people and were very happy to be able to see Cheung Kwok Wing's stage costumes.

At the same time, because September 12th would have been Cheung Kwok Wing's 67th birthday, the originally closed on Tuesdays Hong Kong Heritage Museum would be opened for the special occasion. On that day, the museum's first floor theater would scree two classic Cheung Kwok Wing films for free, the 11 AM screening of OKINAWA RENDEZ-VOUS (LUEN JIN CHUNG SING) and the 3PM screening of ASHES OF TIME (DONG CHE SAI DUK). Admission would begin 15 minutes before the start of the event. Space would be limited, first come first serve.

Chan Suk Fun revealed that "Gor fans" have touched her and Gor Gor's beloved Daffy Tong Hok Tak, after discussion they have decided to turn Gor Gor's photo into a postcard for "Gor fans". Tong Hok Tak in the process for searching for photos found Gor Gor's personally hand written draft that Gor Gor wrote for a memobilia. They decided to add the draft into the postcard for "Gor fans" to preserve. The postcard would be distributed on September 12th to visitors in commemoration of Gor Gor's birthday.
