193 after declaration no more audience appreciation events for him makes a surprise appearance |
ERROR's Dee Ho Kai Wa, Poki Ng and Catherine Chau Ka Yi
earlier attended their Emperor Motion Picture YUM INVESTIGATION (YUM
MUK JING SHUN)'s audience appreciation show. During the fan question
and answer segment they were asked whether there would be a sequel.
Due to less than ideal box office the trio all agreed and said no,
which cracked up the audience. Poki even took the burden and
proclaimed himself the box office poison. "I take the burden after
coming to self realization. I don't want to affect the others' acting
opportunities. I myself indeed am not particularly interested in
acting, so as the box office poison I am OK." Dee was a part of the
hit film A GUILTY CONSCIENCE (DUK SIT DAI JONG), instead YUM's
performance has been drastically different. He pointed out that he
was upset because he saw that the director was upset. "He is a new
director too, perhaps later someone would be willing to let him
work. However his inner trauma would require time (to heal). They
have their own pressure."
Group mate 193 (Denis Kwok Ka Chun) received many negative
reviews for this film's performance. Poki said that he might be upset
because of that, but felt that 193 already has broken through. He
said, "He said that he didn't want to be the original 193, he wanted
to show people another side. Actor takes bumps and falls like this,
everyone is blindly trying. The poor result is an experience.
Ultimately he is still very new and it's his first time on the big
screen." Speaking of 193's audience appreciation issues, Poki said,
"Audience appreciation is like teacher appreciation dinners, I didn't
even go to my own graduation. Come if it's right and don't come if
it's not." They said that 193 attended an audience appreciation show
after and agreed with Louis Koo Tin Lok's comment that if he was in
poor health then he should not force myself. Dee said, "What Boss Koo
says, I have no way to disagree. Whatever Boss Koo says, we listen!"
