The Ming Pao Weekly 50th party took place two nights
ago. Guests included Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Candice Chiu Hei Lok,
Amy Yip Chi Mei, Ron Ng Cheuk Hei, Stephen Chan Chi Wun, Cally Kwong
Mei Wan, Chris Lai Lok Yi, Michael Wong Man Tak, Candy Yu On On,
Jason Chan Chi Sun and his wife, Alice Chan Wai, MIDLIFE SING AND SHINE
singers, host Stephanie Che Yuen Yuen and judge Harry Wu Chung
Hung. Wong Chau Sun earlier announced the Golden Horse Awards
nominations in Taiwan. He said that he would attend THE SUNNY SIDE OF
THE STREET (BAK YUN CHING CHUN)'s screening event in Japan and would
not be able to attend the awards. He picked Wu Kang-ren to win the
Golden Horse Awards Best Actor.
Wong Chau Sun said that later he would visit his drama
teacher and friends in France, and joked that he would see whether
he would have any performance or work opportunity. Later he would head
to Japan to participate in THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET's screening,
and unable to attend this year's Golden Horse Awards. His Dionysus
Contemporary Theatre's 10th anniversary performance ENIGMA VARIATIONS
would go on an European tour next year with stops in England, France
and Holland.
