The Eddie Cheung Siu Fai and Venus Wong Man Yik starred, Danny Pang Fat directed thriller JOI SUN YUN (RESURRECTED PERSON) earlier wrapped up production in Malaysia. They earlier in Hong Kong have already completed all exterior scenes, coming to Malaysia they mainly had to shoot the interior scene and the emotional scenes. Pang Fat's birthday happened to be during the period. Wong Man Yik paid out of her own pocket to treat him to dinner. The director claimed that Wong Man Yik's performance has been quite a surprise, and also sang Cheung Siu Fai's praises. He hoped that he would be able to win awards at film festivals with this film.
In addition, Cheung Siu Fai also made two movies in a row there. He said that the local cuisine and weather were the most memorable, sunny in the morning and sudden lightning and thunder in the afternoon. Luckily the main set was interior, so the weather has not affected the production progress. After finishing that film, he immediately flew to work in the mainland. He joked, "My kids aren't on their own yet, I still have to make money to pay for school!"
