Carina Lau Ka Ling yesterday attended the "Chubby Hearts Hong Kong" opening ceremony. She said that the world really needed love. This event was very meaningful, perfect for reminding everyone to bring love to those around them and people around the world. Thus she came to take part in and support the event. "The world now is full of natural disaster, pandemic and war, all of which are negative. Hence there should be more love, starting from loving yourself to loving those around you, then spread it further. Love is in the air!" Ka Ling would also expressed her love to husband Tony Leung Chiu Wai, admitting to be traditional she stated that she would still send cards, flowers, presents to him.
Wai Jai with THE GOLDFINGER (GUM SAU JI) has been nominated for the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actor again. Ka Ling has congratulated her husband, and even stated that she was biased and picked him to win. "Other nominees are good too, but I am obviously biased. I watched it twice, and feel that he has already reached another level. He is a rare actor, but let's not praise him too much!" Would she still have an acting bug ? Ka Ling said that right now she would first focus on handling Wai Jai's jobs. Wai Jai in March would fly to Germany to make foreign film SILENT FRIEND, and thus would not be able to attend the Hong Kong Film Awards.
