Yen Chi Tan revealed that he just finished his new film, which
was in post production and should be able to meet its release this
year. He also revealed that he was preparing for a foreign film, but
the script has yet to be finished. He still had several projects on
his hand. IP MAN 5 currently was still in the initial stage of
conceiving its production direction. During the interview his friend
Ray Lui Leung Wai passed by and said that he really would like to work
with him on a film. Chi Tan suggested FLASH POINT 2 (DOH FOR SIN 2).
He too hoped that they would be able to work on a movie together.
Brother Lui asked what the reporters were talking about. When he learned
that they were mentioning IP MAN 5, he said, "Wong Fei Hung had 100
installments, IP MAN has to make 100 installments too!" Chi Tan
declined, "I can't take that. (10 movies?) I would try my best, right
now it isn't just about big production. It has to have a good script
too."
