The mainland animated film NEZHA 2 broke 10 billion yuan RMB (about HK$10.6 billion) at the box office last night, setting a number of mainland box office records. Currently it is the only non-Hollywood film to occupy the top 20 box office in global film history. In 2019, NEZHA collected 5 billion (about HK$ 5.3 billion), and the original team produced NEZHA 2 that was released in the mainland on the first day of the Lunar New Year. So far it has continued to break mainland ticket records. Yesterday, Enlight and Mandarin Motion Pictures announced that NEZHA 2 would be distributed by Mandarin Motion Pictures, Intercontinental Pictures, Sil-Metropole Organization and Emperor Motion Pictures in Hong Kong and Macau. The cinema chains of the four distribution companies, Cinema City, MCL, Cinema Arts and Emperor Cinemas, would work together to arrange the release of "Nezha 2" as soon as possible for Hong Kong and Macao audiences to enjoy.

Commenting on the distribution of NEZHA 2 this time, the Mandarin Motion Pictures chairman Raymond Wong Pak Ming said that he was very honored. "Mandarin Motion Pictures has been working with Enlight for many years. It is a great honor to be able to work with Enlight again this time, to bring such an excellent Chinese animated film to the Hong Kong and Macao markets, so that the audience can enjoy it in the cinema for themselves." NEZHA 2 was director Jiaozi with nearly 140 teams and more than 4,000 animators from all over the country created. Taking over 5 years to produce, the film continued the comedy style of NEZHA, with 3 times the number of characters and even more special effects shots.
