Philip Keung Ho Man and his wife Yin Ning jointly produced the Lunar New Year film HA HA HA HAPPY NEW YEAR, and served as the star and the screenwriter respectively. This was the first time that the two worked together as husband and wife, and friction was inevitable. Keung Ho Man did not shy away from saying, "She and I both have a temper. Sometimes after a sentence or two, we will say screw it! (Who would concede?) In this aspect, everyone is in tune so naturally one of us will give in." Yin Ning said with a smile that this film even cured the insomnia that has plagued her husband for many years. "You can say whatever you want about him, when he gets home and he is out like a light. When he wakes up the next morning he doesn't remember what was said." When it came to box office pressure, Keung Ho Man said that he has tried his best and the box office would not be within his control.
