The three couples due to war were separated in two lands. Gum Sing Mo and Masami Nagasawa wrote love letters to cure their pain of missing each other. The post 80s Masami Nagasawa actually praised such a prehistoric method to express love. She said, "Young people now all use phones to send text messages and emails. Actually letter writing enables people to inject even more emotions. Because they cannot see each other, the type of emotions instead became even deeper. In comparison to love now, that era's love was even heavier." She praised her on screen lover Gum Sing Mo as a very charming person. She said, "Gum Sing Mo is a very serious person. Through exchanges with him I sense that his words are very solid. He is a very real and sincere person."
