The Hong Kong Live Performance and Production Industry Association organized "Live is so much better with Music Eason Chan Charity Concert" online charity concert would take place today, but the unstable weather would keep them from capturing the best sunrise effect. With the new wave of the novel coronavirus eruption, after consideration the Association announced the the originally scheduled 6AM live concert would be changed to a taped performance that would be shown during the same period today. The 5PM concert live broadcast would remain unchanged. The Association thanked Chan Yik Shun for fully cooperating with the Association's last minute changes. Eason two nights ago after the rehearsal headed to the location early in the morning for the overnight shoot.

Among the musicians who would appear at this charity concert, many have worked with Eason for years but Eason also invited some he has never worked with before like famous musician Andrew Tuason (To Chi Chi). In their conversation, Eason hoped through this charity concert to be able to salute a group of musicians. Early in the pandemic after watching Sam Hui Koon Kit's outdoor concert he was very moved. Then Aaron Kwok Fu Sing's online concerted helped dancers and film industry freelance workers. After watching these two concerts, Eason felt that maybe everyone would feel that musician's life would be easier, and everyone would overlook the difficulties that they faced during this pandemic. He and music director Carl Wong Seung Chun hoped to make this charity concert even more interesting and meaningful, thus they invited so many outstanding musicians old and new to perform together. It was also their salute to their contribution to the performance industry.
