The Carlos Chan Ka Lok, Michelle Wai Sze Nga starred film BUK YUT SING FUN (COMING SOON WEDDING) earlier began production but due to the third wave of the pandemic, the rising number of infections forced the decision of suspending production for a week. Emperor Motion Pictures marketing department replies, "Due to the pandemic, the film will temporarily stop production. Once the pandemic subsides work will resume." Another Eric Tsang Chi Wai led film JUNG SI YAU OI JOI GAK LEI (THERE IS ALWAYS LOVE AROUND) originally was scheduled for an August release. Now due to the cinema closing and the "seat restriction order" even when re-opened, for now the film's actual release date remained unknown.
