The Karena Lam Ka Yun and the Golden Bell Best Actor Kaiser Chuang starred new film AMERICAN GIRL earlier announced its world premiere at the Tokyo International Film Festival. Yesterday the film received good news that it was selected for the festival's "Asian Future" segment. Lam Ka Yun excitedly expressed, "To be able to continue to hold a film festival under the pandemic isn't easy at all. I want to say.....once in contact with the universe under director (Fiona) Roan Feng-I's pen, we can't escape this world. AMERICAN GIRL would be able to get into everyone's life foundation and interpret similar experience that many people have had. I hope everyone would like it."
Playing a couple with Best Actress Lam Ka Yun for the first time, Kaiser Chuang said, "The subject of family has no geographical differentiation. After getting such good news, I really am especially happy for the director. Congratulations to the director and the team. I also look forward to this as a good beginning, for our film to be able to continue this good luck and for brilliant success at the box office."
