The Louis Koo Tin Lok produced and starred film WARRIORS OF FUTURE (MING YUT JIN GEI) after 10 days in release passed the HK$ 40 million mark; the Sandra Ng Kwan Yu produced and starred CHILLI LAUGH STORY (HOP GA LAT) also passed the HK$ 33.33 million at the box office. Two nights ago the two films held a joint audience appreciation event. Aside from the two leads, WARRIORS' Philip Keung Ho Man, Tony Wu Tsz Tung and Law Ho Ming and CHILLI's director Coba Cheng Chun Hin also attended.
When Koo Tin Lok appeared, viewers already cheered endlessly and screamed thank you. They were grateful to Goo Jai for taking a big leap for Hong Kong film. Goo Jai said, "Thank you everyone. I want to reveal to everyone that when I originally went to the hospital for a blood clot shot, I was suddenly attacked by the mantis shrimp (alien) and later picked up a rabbit. The scene originally had a story, a Mama told me to properly take care of her daughter. However she was too busy to perform, today I finally invited Auntie Three here!" Kwan Yu joked, "Everyone should remember that I am the female lead of WARRIORS OF FUTURE 2." Later she even praised Goo Jai as the "Hong Kong Marvel".
