Directors Gordon Chan Ka Seung and Lau Ho Leung appeared on a ViuTV program and shared highlight of their film journey. Speaking of the film FIGHT BACK TO SCHOOL (TOH HOK WAI LUNG), Chan Ka Seung revealed that before the production he only had 15 sentences to describe the idea and the lead actor was not Stephen Chow Sing Chi. However at his insistence the film company finally signed Chow Sing Chi. He also pointed out that in the film many improvised on the set, the production process was very pleasant and he even revealed that no one around him was optimistic. "At the time the shows weren't sold out! I was so scared I wanted to die!"
As for the film that had the biggest changes after the production began, it was the film that won 5 Hong Kong Film Awards, BEAST COPS (YEH SAU YING GAING). He said that most initial idea was to make a big comedy. "At the time piracy was at its most rampant, which made the entire film industry climate poor. After 1 day in production it was halted."
