The MY FAIR PRINCESS trilogy was still unforgettable, and after it was broadcast in 1998 it became popular not only in the Chinese region, but also in Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia. She also said in her last short video before her death that this was her final choice. In fact, she had already explained the funeral arrangements on social media networks as early as 2017, stating that she would never undergo major surgery when she was seriously ill, not to be sent to the intensive care unit, not to insert any life-support tubes, to refuse first aid measures, and not to have any religious mourning after death, not to publish obituaries, no public funeral, and to quickly cremate and then returned to earth in a floral burial.

Known as the "godmother of love", Chiung Yao had a wonderful love path, and had 3 relationships in her life that people were more familiar with. When she was young, she was in love with the like-minded Chinese language teacher Jiang Renpu, but broke up after being discovered by her parents. Chiung Yao has written countless books in her life. In 1976, she established Superstar Film Company with Ping Hsin-tao to adapt her works into movies.
