Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Philp Ng Wan Lung and director Soi Cheang Pou-Soi were guests of the ViuTV program THE POPCORN SHOW. Ng Wan Lung and Hung Kam Bo had a fight scene in TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING AI JI WAI SING). The former said that the pressure was not too great, and recalled that he fought with Hung Kam Bo for the first time in the movie NAKED SOLDIER (JUET SIK MO HEI) not long after entering the industry. He was nervous that he did not perform well, and he needed Hung Kam Bo's help to complete the action.
Hung Kam Bo has principles in filming. When he was an actor, he must follow any requirements of the stunt coordinators unless he was uncomfortable with something. Because he iwas an action director and director, he would respect the staff of each position. When he was a stunt coordinator, he had to clearly understand the skills and strengths of each team member, before assigning what kind of action scenes each person would be responsible for. He also said that action movies were not worth the effort. For many awards the chances action films have would be very few, but action movies have been able to sell all over the world. He said, "Dramatic films win awards, best director, best film, best whatever, but they can't be sold out in the world. I wonder if I have gotten into the wrong profession and whether I should make more dramatic films!" He admired all the crew of action movies. They have put in a lot of hard work but do not get even a little comfort in return. Hung Kam Bo shared the highly difficult experience of filming an action movie. When filming THE LIFE OR SALE (MAI MING) in South Korea, he had to jump off a 60-foot-high mountain; but there were only 6 cardboard boxes and a floor mat at the bottom of the mountain. He dared to do it at that time, because there was sand nearby. He thought that he would vomit blood at most. Finally he was kicked by the lead 3 times in a row before jumping down, and he happened to fall on the cardboard boxes.
